Emma Pavan

Registered Psychotherapist

You may be someone who is ambitious in life, who has persevered and overcome many obstacles, but like many, have encountered a setback that has left you feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Similarly, this feeling of being overwhelmed has generalized to other aspects of your life, which has affected them negatively, that being your school, relationships, work life, amongst other aspects.

Using a person-centered approach and stressing the therapeutic relationship, we will work together, through guidance, on the goals established for therapy.

Over the past five years, Emma has gained experience in many different mental health areas and with different populations. Emma has volunteered with the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto, where she ensured the safety of clients. She has facilitated group sessions at the Canadian Centre for Men and Families with fathers, who have recently separated/divorced. Emma has also gained experience working with children, volunteering both at Boomerang Health, Powered by SickKids, and at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She has also worked with individuals who have experienced Motor Vehicle Accidents.
